As the Gastronomic Society of Turkey, we began February 2026\u2014the year we celebrate our 35th anniversary\u2014with a visit to An\u0131tkabir, standing in the presence of our Founder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the official ceremony held with the participation of our Board of Directors and members, our Chairperson Esin Sungur laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk, signed the An\u0131tkabir Memorial Book, and wrote the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDear Atat\u00fcrk,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Gastronomic Society of Turkey, which regards researching, documenting, and sharing the culinary culture of our country as an essential duty for the continuity of our cultural heritage, we stand in your presence on the occasion of our 35th anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continue our efforts\u2014grounded in modernity\u2014to preserve, elevate, and pass on our culinary culture, one of the strongest expressions of cultural heritage and social unity, with unwavering commitment to the values of our Republic, a true climate of civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the enlightened path you have opened, we will continue to work with all our strength to protect and carry forward the cultural richness of our country into the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
